Mobile Plant Engineer Cambridge/Peterborough/Northampton £40,000 to £45,000 + Overtime (OTE £60,000) + Van NEOS Engineering are currently working with one of the UK’s largest plant companies who are looking for a Plant Engineer, they specialize in large civil engineering contracts and plant machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Engineer who has experience working on medium to heavy construction plant equipment but wants more overtime and responsibility. The ideal Plant Engineer is a candidate who has 5 years experience carrying out service, maintenance and repair of all types of earthmoving machinery. The candidate will be confident working alone and be able to think on their feet! The day to day role of the Mobile Plant Engineer is travelling across the A1 Corridor for your employer attending machines that they have out on hire. The day to day role can vary from routine services to breakdowns, your role is to get the customers machine back up and running as quickly as possible! The company is a well known & well respected brand within the industry, this is a brilliant opportunity for a plant engineer wanting autonomy! The Role: Service, Maintenance & Repair of plant machinery at customer sites Covering a large patch all along the A1 corridor Mechanical & Electrical repairs – diesel engines, hydraulic systems, diagnostics. The Candidate: Experience working on Plant machinery. Eager to receive overtime & progression NVQ Level 2/3 on Construction or Agricultural Plant Maintenance (preferred but not essential) Full Driving License.
