The Opportunity Based onsite at our Torr Works, Limestone Super Quarry we now have an excellent opportunity for you to join our large expanding engineering team as a Mobile Plant Fitter. Onsite you’ll cover Monday-Friday days, rotating 05:00-14:00 & 08:00-17:30, where you’ll play a crucial part in keeping our operations running. As part of a team you’ll maintain a fleet of vehicles such as Excavators, Loading Shovels & Dump Trucks. Assisted by Senior Engineers for internal and external training you’ll have opportunities to further develop in areas such as welding and hydraulics to become an expert in this field. You’ll be based in a fully equipped workshop, tasked with preventive maintenance and reactive works. With your own stores area and specialist tools readily available you’ll have the capacity to do what you do best. Who you are You’ll have experience as a Fitter/ Mechanic for either a Mobile Plant, HGV, Agricultural, Forklift or Military environment. We’re a busy operational site so you’ll need to be able to work in a safe manner. You’ll have a desire to build your experience and develop new skills.
