This is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking for a driving role but one that will lead them into a field engineering career, working for a great organisation who will offer

full training.

There are many aspects to this role. Along with full training, you receive a vehicle, laptop, phone, work wear, fuel card, plus all expenses.

As an MST, you will be meeting the engineers on customer sites and, if required, remove cash from ATMs under security protocol, working closely with the engineer to ensure the site is well placed for a de-cash.

Other aspects of the role include meeting engineers on site, delivering and handing over larger parts for the ATMs, and, if required, assisting the engineer with fitting parts.

Once training has been given, you will also carry out basic fault finding on ATMs in the absence of the Field Engineer, such as clearing card reader faults, printer faults, note jams, etc. Some heavy lifting might be involved.

You will also, on occasion, carry out non-engineering tickets, such as meeting BT, locksmiths, and alarm handovers.

As an MST, you will also be responsible for returning parts and ordering replacements, ensuring that you keep an order of stock that you carry onboard your vehicle.

This role requires you to be self-motivated and driven and have an interest in working in the field and developing into a field engineer should this be your aim.

For this position, you will need to demonstrate a good geographical knowledge of the local area. On occasion, you may be asked to work out of area, which could involve a longer distance for driving.

Ideally, you will have previous experience with electronics or mechanical devices and also ideally basic fault-finding skills and experience, even if it is mending and fault finding on home gadgets and appliances.

An SIA license would be beneficial but is not essential as the organisation will arrange for this to be taken.

Good communication skills and basic admin skills are essential for this role.

Below is an outline of the shifts and hours:

The normal working week is 42.5 hours Monday to Sunday. You will be required to participate in a shift pattern rota.

Shifts will be scheduled on any 10 days out of a consecutive period of 14 days. Shifts rotas are subject to the following conditions:

Maximum of 2 weekends worked in a 4-week period.

Maximum of 1 weekend per 4-week period can be a late shift.

No more than 25% of working shifts will be scheduled as late shifts (Late shift defined as shift finishing after 18:30 but before 23:00).

Maximum of 7 consecutive working days.

Scheduled working weekends will not be consecutive.

Daily hours will be determined by the shift pattern and will be between the hours of 07:00 and 23:00.

The maximum shift period will be 10 hours; during a 10-hour shift, a paid break of 15 minutes may be taken in addition to the lunch break.

Minimum shift period will be 7 hours.

You will be allocated an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes during your shift.

You will be given 30 days written notice of change in shift pattern unless by mutual agreement.
