Mobile Showroom Driver and Product Trainer

will work closely with the external sales team to showcase our state-of-the-art glazing solutions. Driving our 3.5-tonne mobile showroom, you’ll visit customers, assisting with live product demonstrations and delivering exceptional service. The role involves maintaining the vehicle to ensure it is always presentable, restocking materials, and supporting the customer experience. With full training provided, you’ll gain product knowledge to progress into delivering technical advice and training independently. As your product knowledge develops, so will your salary. We want someone who can drive, progressing to become a driving force. Typically, two nights per week will involve staying away from home. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement:

Work alongside the external sales team to deliver engaging product demonstrations and professionally represent Clayton Glass at customer sites across the UK. Vehicle Maintenance and Preparation:

Ensure punctuality by arriving on time for vehicle set-up and demonstrations, maintaining a professional schedule. Drive a 3.5-tonne mobile showroom safely and responsibly, adhering to all road safety regulations. Take full responsibility for the care of the vehicle, valued at £150,000, ensuring it is handled with precision and diligence during transport and setup. Keep the mobile showroom clean, presentable, and fully stocked to provide a professional and engaging customer experience. Career Development:

Progress to providing technical training and expert customer advice as product knowledge develops. Support Clayton Glass' reputation for exceptional customer service and innovation. Essential Criteria Over 25 years of age for insurance purposes. A full UK clean driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2, an advantage). A minimum of 3 years driving experience. Willingness to undergo regular alcohol and drug testing in compliance with workplace safety and company policies. Confidence driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle and managing logistics for overnight hotel stays. A professional attitude with strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in vehicle presentation. Desirable Criteria Experience in customer-facing or sales support roles. An enthusiasm for learning and progressing into a more training and technical role. Basic knowledge of the glazing industry or a willingness to develop expertise.
