Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fully Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and in all weathers. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. The Vehicle Technician will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service while working on a diverse range of vehicles. Duties Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance. Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on vehicles. Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs. Assist in heavy lifting of equipment and vehicle parts as needed. Experience Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various brand vehicle systems. Experience with PSA Wetbelt systems and Ford Wetbelt systems. Experience with Emission controls such as Adblue, DPF, EGR diagnostic and repairs. Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
