This exciting new opportunity will allow you to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner employing your skills and knowledge as may be required, including the ability to diagnose faults with the minimum supervision.

What will you be doing?
Responsibilities will include:
Managing your schedule and having responsibility for your own revenue.
Travelling to customers' premises and assisting in repairing any mechanical issues.
Observing, recognising and reporting on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
Examining vehicles completely and reporting orally or in writing on their condition, safety, reliability, and performance.
Protecting all vehicles under repair against damage.
Attending recognised courses of instruction as and when required.
Seeking permission before fitting parts to customers' vehicles that have not been previously authorised and returning parts for warranty and customer inspection at all times.
Ensuring all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork and electronic documentation, e.g. PDI sheets are fully completed and signed off.
As this role involves travelling to client sites, all travel time is paid for. The working days for this role are Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have:
A Minimum Level 2 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
A full, UK driving licence.
A strong team player mentality.
The ability to work to a very high standard.
A willingness to learn and develop.
