Mobile Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Maidstone, Kent!
Basic Salary up to £40,000 (increase after probation)
Salary OTE: £46,000 - £50,000 (OT based Targets)
Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:30pm (30 min lunch)
1 in 2 Saturdays 08:00am - 17:00pm.
Overtime always available.
5 Years experience required.
Company Van, fuel card, laptop and phone provided.
Our client, a nationwide fleet repair specialist, is currently looking to hire a fully qualified and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician. They are a national company with technicians up and down the country, and are currently looking to fill the gap with a Technician based in the Buckinghamshire/Bedfordshire area.
Qualities of the ideal Mobile Vehicle Technician: Ideally, you will have worked within a franchise-approved automotive dealership but this is non-essential. Candidates experienced within an Independent garage will also be considered. You will also need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points. You will have the drive and commitment to work independently. You will need a charismatic and approachable personality given you will interact with our client's customers daily. Any experience/training with hybrid technology vehicles would be highly beneficial but is non-essential. You will be supplied a company van and will be working independently in the region carrying out essential maintenance and repair work for our client's key fleet accounts. You're given a great amount of freedom in this role if you prove yourself to be trustworthy.
In order to be eligible, you will ideally live in a central location to your assigned territory (Milton Keynes would be great but this isn't mandatory). You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and have several years of experience post-qualification working as a Vehicle Technician so you will be able to confidently handle a variety of different mechanical and electrical repair jobs that our client will receive.
