Alpine F1 Team have an opportunity to join the team as a Modelling and Software Engineer at our site in Enstone within our Technology Group. Modelling and Software Engineer – The Role

The role involves the improvement and development of tools and scripts to automate data analysis and simulations, facilitating design sensitivities and optimisation studies. This role involves supporting the improvement and validation of simulation models for complex mechanical systems related to future car or technology developments. The job requires strong collaboration with the Technology team and other departments to create more efficient workflows. The main responsibility will be to produce clean and efficient code following programming best practice to improve simulations, perform data analysis and contribute to the improvement of our in-house models and libraries for the simulation of mechanical systems. Modelling and Software Engineer – The Person

Candidates for this position must have: Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer / Data science, Mechanical, Aerospace or Physics) Proficiency in the use of programming tools (Matlab / Python) Good understanding of vehicle dynamics, suspension, multi-body Mindset to automate tasks, simulations, data processing Experience in developing tools / GUI Candidates must be self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and a strong cross-functional mindset.
