Modelling Engineer
Modelling Engineer focuses on leading technical delivery of power systems modelling and simulation activities.
What the role involves
- Leading technical delivery of power systems modelling and simulation activities.
- Develop system-level electrical designs and integration solutions.
- Carry out modelling, analysis, and simulation using tools such as Matlab, Simulink, ETAP, PSCAD, and DIgSILENT.
- Produce equipment specifications and functional design documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with international standards, safety regulations, and class society requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across design reviews and project delivery activities.
Skills and requirements
- Strong background in Power Systems Engineering and electrical system integration.
- Working knowledge of Generator Management Systems and/or Power Management Systems.
- Proven experience using industry-standard power systems modelling tools.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
