Modelling Engineer focuses on leading technical delivery of power systems modelling and simulation activities.

What the role involves

  • Leading technical delivery of power systems modelling and simulation activities.
  • Develop system-level electrical designs and integration solutions.
  • Carry out modelling, analysis, and simulation using tools such as Matlab, Simulink, ETAP, PSCAD, and DIgSILENT.
  • Produce equipment specifications and functional design documentation.
  • Ensure designs comply with international standards, safety regulations, and class society requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership across design reviews and project delivery activities.

Skills and requirements

  • Strong background in Power Systems Engineering and electrical system integration.
  • Working knowledge of Generator Management Systems and/or Power Management Systems.
  • Proven experience using industry-standard power systems modelling tools.
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
