Modelling & Simulation Lead Engineer - £30.81/hour Umbrella - Gaydon - Initial 3 month contract Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the thrilling world of automotive innovation? With an attractive hourly rate of £30.81, this role not only promises professional growth but also a chance to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in Electrical Engineering and ADAS systems. What You Will Do:

Design and deliver state-of-the-art modelling and simulation methods and tools for ADAS system designs validation and verification. Develop Co-simulation of ADAS systems models integrating vehicle dynamics and sensor models. Lead Virtual reality-based user testing and vehicle-based rapid prototyping of models. Establish modelling & simulation standards and software to enforce these standards. Support system engineers in creating resilient systems models and assist system test engineers in executing test cases through SIL & MIL testing. Innovate processes and tools for continuous integration, simulation, and rapid prototyping to validate designs and test case designs against specified model behaviour. What You Will Bring:

Proficient in Matlab/Simulink Simulation and Python with a degree in a relevant subject. Extensive experience in Systems Engineering “V-Model”, specifically model-based testing, design verification, and validation. Strong background in software development (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++) and automotive SPICE Process. Familiarity with MIL, SIL - open and closed loop testing, and UML/SYSML modelling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a DEVOPS model, including CI/CD pipeline experience. Company Contribution & Industry Information:
