Salary: £36,630 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £40,893 per annum + Excellent Benefits including Government Pension Location: Exmouth (Devon) Type of employment: Fixed Term Until 31/03/25 Closing Date: 04/01/2025 at 23:55 About the role: The principal responsibility of the MS & OIC National Training Development Specialist is to deliver priorities set by the NPCC and the Home Office for the benefit of front-line policing, which have been identified as Safeguarding, Policy, Operational Activity, Ports and Borders, and Training. This role involves reviewing and supplying training on a national level and assisting forces to identify and train their own staff, building knowledge and improving the quality and consistency of the UK's policing response. The post will work closely with both statutory agencies and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to identify and support improvements in the way police forces across England & Wales work in partnership to tackle Organised Immigration Crime (OIC) and Modern Slavery (MS).
