£35.00 / hour The Contract Overview: You'll plan, design, develop and deliver content, live online lessons, and assessments for learners on Tiro's Applied Chemical Sciences modules: Inorganic Chemistry - January 2025 (10 weeks) Physical and Inorganic Spectroscopy – April 2025 (10 weeks) Organic Chemical Characterisation – October 2025 (10 weeks) Delivering phenomenal learning experiences: You'll deliver a variety of specialist modules, content, materials, and assessments that are learner-centric, stretching, and delivered in live and asynchronous sessions via digital platforms, embedding your subject specialist knowledge to develop highly competent Scientists and Technologists. You'll inspire and engage learners so attendance to sessions is something to look forward to. Ensure learners progress through their programme: You'll anticipate, spot, and address issues/challenges to keep learners progressing with their learning. Being proactive, you'll drive the progress of your learners, keeping them on track to complete their learning within agreed timelines. Core Deliverables: Module Delivery Plan:

Design robust module delivery plans in accordance with approved module narratives. Content Creation:

Design and develop subject-specific content for Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and Live Lesson Delivery. Module Meetings:

Attend module and cross-module meetings to discuss issues of concern and share good practices. Live Lesson Delivery:

Deliver ten (2 hour) weekly live online lessons per module. Assessment Marking:

Ensure assessments are marked and returned to learners in accordance with Tiro's Assessment Policy. Learner Feedback:

Provide high-quality, appropriate, and timely feedback to learners on their assessments. About you: We're looking for someone who is an industry pro in Chemistry with a degree qualification or higher in the field. You will love using your expertise to deliver training and impart knowledge to others. Your specialty is turning complex chemistry information into 'lightbulb' moments. You'll thrive on engaging and inspiring people with your communication skills. Safeguarding: This role involves contact with learners from 16 years old upwards. Tiro is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all our learners, staff, and customers.
