position! What you'll be doing Program, set, and operate CNC machines to meet production schedules and quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to Health & Safety Troubleshoot machinery issues, escalating as needed to minimise downtime Be proactive, come up with problem solving and continuous improvement solutions Collaborate effectively across departments, demonstrating strong teamwork Take ownership of personal development, training, and agreed appraisal targets Report directly into the Machine Shop Manager Hours Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Pay £16.47 per hour / £34,257.20 per annum Skills/Experience Required Proven CNC Programming experience (3-axis CNC, Heidenhain controls preferred) Time-served Apprenticeship in Engineering or equivalent (HNC/HND) Strong attention to detail Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively Benefits 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Competitive salary Company pension Free onsite parking Day Shifts No Weekends Free fruit Free tea & coffee Monthly prize draws Quarterly bonus Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
