Mortgage Adviser Job Overview Provide advice and arrange various types of mortgages including, but not limited to: residential mortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, remortgages, and product transfers. Conduct comprehensive consultations with customers to understand their situation and overall goals. Cross-sell insurance products from market-leading insurers. Deliver high levels of detailed client care. Foster and develop relationships with prospective clients. Generate and retain business. Assess clients' financial status, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, to determine their borrowing capacity and eligibility for various mortgage products.
Mortgage Adviser Job Requirements Fully CeMAP qualified. Achieved CAS status (preferred). Previous experience working in a mortgage brokerage - 2+ years. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent understanding of mortgage and insurance products. No panel exclusions. IT proficiency. As this role is based in the Croydon area, suitable candidates must have a reasonable commute to the area. Hybrid working is available once probation has been completed.
Mortgage Adviser Salary & Benefits £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary (depending on experience). Competitive holiday allowance. Hybrid working (after probation). Regular staff social events. Leads provided. Commission starts at 10%.
