The Job: MOT Tester / Mechanic
Perform MOT tests on a range of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Inspect vehicle components including brakes, lights, steering, and tyres for functionality and safety.
Diagnose faults and recommend necessary repairs or adjustments.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with regulations.
Communicate findings clearly to customers, providing explanations of any issues discovered during testing.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs.
Job Experience: MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician
MOT Licence is essential in securing this position.
Must be willing to assist in repairs.
Must have a full driver's licence with less than 9 points.
Confident with mechanical vehicle repairs.
