Join us as an Underwriter in our Motor Underwriting Team - we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our exciting team as we look to grow our brands and offerings. What you’ll be doing You’ll get stuck in straight away, soak up new experiences and most importantly you’ll positively influence and shape what we do – making an impact on our customers' lives. We’ll utilise your skills where they are most needed whilst also giving you the opportunity to build and grow the breadth of your expertise. Your key responsibilities will include: Portfolio management of our Motor products, reviewing how we’re performing and proposing action Having a proactive focus on the development and implementation of application fraud controls Working collaboratively with our counter fraud teams Ensuring our underwriting criteria supports the delivery of our financial targets and positive customer outcomes Enacting and enhancing our underwriting controls Working together with a multi-disciplined trading team What you’ll need Experience of managing portfolios in a personal lines insurance product, ideally Motor Experience of fraud controls at point of quote Proven track record of using your underwriting expertise to make a positive difference Comfortable analysing data to inform your decision-making Understanding of relevant insurance regulations & legislation Great interpersonal skills & stakeholder management, dealing with stakeholders of all levels Ability to innovate & work in a fast-paced environment across a breadth of initiatives Ways of working Our hybrid model way of working offers a 'best of both worlds' approach combining the best parts of home and office-working, offering flexibility for everyone.
