At GMS Motors, we do not just offer general servicing but all aspects of mechanical and electrical repairs, including engine rebuilds on petrol and diesel cars. Responsibilities The successful candidate will join a small team of technicians, working under the support and supervision of an experienced manager. You must be a motivated individual with the capability to work on your own initiative but also be a team player. Responsibilities / Duties of a Mechanic will include, but are not limited to: Vehicle Servicing Engine removal and refitting Timing belt replacements Replacing cylinder head gaskets Replacing clutches Skills and Qualifications of a Mechanic: NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair 4 years of mechanical experience within the automotive industry Proactive, consistent, and efficient with an attention to detail in their work Good attitude and a time-conscious individual Excellent Technical Skills Full UK Driving Licence Salary for the Mechanic will depend on qualifications and experience.
