– 40 hours a week – Monday to Friday with optional Saturday morning shifts available (paid as overtime)

Flexible shift patterns are available between the hours of 7 am-9 pm, so candidates could work 7 am-3 pm, 9 am-5 pm, 1 pm-9 pm or any other pattern between 7 am-9 pm. Our client is a leading independent global automotive distributor and retailer, present in 36 national markets. They operate as a key strategic partner to the world’s foremost premium and luxury car brands, providing an effective, well-financed, and customer-centered route to market for vehicles and parts. They are listed on the London Stock Exchange, employ 15,000 people worldwide, and recorded sales of £6.8 billion in their last financial year. They aim to deliver an outstanding customer experience at every one of their franchised dealerships, supported by specialist, manufacturer-trained staff. They are actively looking to recruit a Motor Vehicle Technician for their premium dealership in Swindon. They are also happy to consider Diagnostic Technicians and Master Technicians for the same site (salaries would be higher), and Level 2 Technicians (salaries would be lower). Main Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate: The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment The capability of working to the highest quality standards Great team player and communication skills Maintain high standards of housekeeping Prior experience in working to efficiency targets A full UK driving license Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable, but not essential VOSA-approved MOT tester is an advantage but not essential Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent
