Moulding Team Leader, St. Leonards-on-Sea

The Best Connection is a recruitment agency, and this position is being offered on a permanent basis. We are looking for a Moulding Supervisor in St. Leonards-On-Sea to assist out client. You will be required to work closely alongside the companies Extrustion Operators to safely install, set up and remove moulds from injection and extrusion machines. you'll also be supervising the activities of all personnel within the department ensuring they are manufacturing goods in accordance with the works requirements and company standards. Daily roles and responsibilities: - Organising the day to day workload of your team and allocate specific tasks to team members particularly export orders ensuring all extra checks are completed and documented. - Liaising daily with the Operations Manager to discuss any issues and needs within your department. - Ensuring the inspection of goods in. - Attending Product Development Meetings as required and work with the team on any ongoing projects. - Ensuring all stock is suitably stored and rotated. - To be a keyholder, responsible when required for opening or locking the building. - Ensuring all staff keep plant and equipment in good working order and the working areas are kept clean and tidy - To enforce company rules and safety policy as laid out within the Company Handbook, ensuring all personnel fully understand these rules (Please be aware your role may not be limited to these tasks) For this position you will need: Right to work in the UK.
