Moulding Technical Leader About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Moulding Technical Leader to take ownership of technical execution, problem solving and team development in a high volume manufacturing environment. Main Responsibilities:
Lead a technical team and provide comprehensive support and guidance to Engineering Technicians, Technicians and Apprentices when resolving equipment breakdowns and completing planned maintenance. Attend meetings to provide engineering status of production lines and agree resource deployment and timings to close losses. Resolve repeat loss issues using systematic problem-solving techniques to determine root cause. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by coaching team members on methodologies and tools. Engage in planning process for Maintenance activities and ensure all preventative maintenance activities are performed effectively. Your Background:
You should hold an HNC or Degree level education in Engineer/Mechatronics or a similar field of study. You must have 5 years of technical or manufacturing experience with several years of experience with complex moulding manufacturing. Prior experience leading a technical team in a busy manufacturing setting is essential. You should possess strong analytical skills, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of Quality Systems. Requirements:
HNC or Degree level education in Engineer/Mechatronics or a similar field of study. 5 years technical or manufacturing experience required, with several years of experience with complex moulding manufacturing. Experience leading a technical team in a busy manufacturing setting. Ability to work as part of a team and encourage effect teambuilding activities. Confident independent thinking, with the ability to act quickly in a high-pressure situation. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Experience with safety and ergonomics in a manufacturing environment. Strong understand of Quality Systems. Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience. Location:
