A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF I am a lady in my early 30's living in the Pontyclun area with my mother, father, and younger sister. I have Asperger’s Syndrome, Hyperactive Disorder, and severe anxiety. I have good communication skills and can express myself clearly. I love singing along to Disney movies. I also enjoy going to the cinema and going out for meals. PURPOSE OF THE JOB I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant so that I can have social interaction with people other than my family. It would provide me with structure, motivation, and routine. I want to be busy and have things to look forward to. I have a bucket list of activities and places I would like to visit such as: Porthcawl Cardiff Barry Island Pontypool Indoor Market St Fagans Bowling Cinema Theatre Arcades Big Pit National Water Front Farms, Zoos, Animal/Wildlife Parks Adventure Parks HOURS OF WORK 18 hours per week (These hours will be to cover the service user's regular PA when they are on leave or are sick and will be a casual contract) RATES OF PAY £13.00 per hour plus mileage where applicable TASKS CAN INCLUDE Ensuring all my needs are met Keeping me safe at all times, I don’t have any road sense and am unaware of dangers Taking me to places I enjoy such as the cinema and out for meals. I would need to sit somewhere quiet. Bingo Bowling TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED Reliable and punctual Considerate, caring, and trustworthy Someone outgoing that is happy to be involved in the activities Knowledge of how my conditions affect me Female PA only Driver with own transport and business class insurance is essential as I get anxiety on public transport. ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK. Apply now
