Bywaters, a leader in environmental sustainability, is committed to excellence and equality in the workplace. We are currently seeking a skilled MRF Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) equipment and systems. Responsibilities:

Lead objective setting, planning, and performance review processes to enhance MRF plant performance. Develop and manage a preventative and predictive maintenance programme, ensuring efficient use and replenishment of supplies and equipment. Analyse plant operations data to recommend improvements and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Support, train, and motivate MRF engineering and maintenance staff to perform safely, timely, and cost-effectively. Work closely with other departments to ensure coordinated operations and handle planned downtimes smoothly. Direct multiple engineering and maintenance projects across Lea Riverside and Gateway Rd locations, aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Identify and secure critical supply and service agreements essential for MRF operations. Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Proven background in MRF engineering is essential. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with relevant qualifications. IOSH qualification is required; additional H&S certifications are advantageous. Experience in leading projects is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and flexible approach to work. Welding skills are essential; MEWPS certification, forklift license, and first aid qualification are advantageous. Benefits:
