MRP Controller
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:30am till 3:30pm
Our client has a manufacturing facility based in Bradford, and they have an immediate requirement for an experienced MRP Controller. The role will be primarily responsible for providing support to the Production Planner, by managing the MRP output from the SAP ERP system.
The material quantities needed for production and sales must be manufactured / procured in a timely manner and to ensure this, the MRP controller will perform daily planning runs in the ERP system, releasing all planned production orders in line with the factory plan.
Duties:
- Convert orders into production orders in line with Factory Plan
- Rework and Refurbishment Administration
- Sequence metal shop orders into daily batches
- Manage MRP runs and unscheduled production requirements
- Maintenance of the MRP system through daily checklists
- Generate and print Shop Floor papers for all assembly work centres
- Provide Holiday Cover for Production Planning Critical Activities
- Check and control the daily MRP runs output
- Tailor Made / Prototype Administration
- Creation and Distribution of Factory Departmental Plans
- Update Daily Production / Weekly Efficiency Reports
Skills:
- Understanding of Production Planning MRP Flow
- Detail conscious, accurate and precise working method
- Excellent Excel / spreadsheet creation
- Knowledge of macros is desirable
- General proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience of SAP desirable but not essential as training is provided
- Good analytical skills
