Our client, based in Yeovil (BA20), has an exciting opportunity for an MRP Controller and is seeking an experienced individual to provide the business with a professional level of knowledge, skill, and expertise to maintain a world-class scheduling system to ensure business objectives are met. This is a full-time temporary position working 37 hours per week until May 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Main Purpose: The MRP Controller will work in partnership with major stakeholders both within and external to the business. You will deploy your specialist MRP/Provisioning knowledge in challenging, validating, and applying judgement in the most cost-effective manner. To manipulate SAP and/or Optimiza planning data in the most efficient manner for optimising the range of products and services.

Skills and Experience Required: A technical knowledge on Helicopter parts or experience/background within a material supply, Aerospace or manufacturing environment. Qualification to HNC level would be useful. Experience using SAP within a Material Planning role is desirable. Complete understanding of how to work to and report budgetary controls. Computer literate – Company IT systems relevant to Department. Good communicator with influencing skills (internal and external) and ability to work across functional boundaries. High level customer focus and the ability to anticipate customer needs. Proven ability to prioritise/manage tasks under pressure to ensure that the required service level is maintained. Proven evidence in planning and delivering projects within deadlines. Experience in using Optimiza and MOD systems would be useful.
