An exciting opportunity has become available within Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) to join our innovative and friendly team of Physiotherapists as a Band 4 Physiotherapy Assistant. There is a part-time MSK post available (21.5 hrs a week) and is based at Leighton Hospital outpatients. Your application should detail your experience to date and give clear reasons for applying for this post. Our mentorship programme offers regular supervision, setting objectives, promoting self-analysis and development. Your development will be supported. You will benefit from regular CPD with access to advice and support from our Physiotherapists, receiving Peer Review sessions, and participating in in-service training. Main duties of the job

You will provide clinical assessment and treatment of patients referred with musculoskeletal conditions e.g. post-operative patients referred via orthopaedics. You will independently manage your own daily caseload as part of the physiotherapy team. Working for our organisation

To assist in the management and treatment of patients under the guidance of a qualified clinician. To follow departmental protocols and guidelines referring to a qualified clinician who is available for advice. To independently carry out specified assessments, interventions and programmes as planned and discussed with a qualified clinician. To monitor and report progress of patients during the implementation of planned interventions and programmes. To work with an individual or group in a variety of settings appropriate to the patients' needs. To modify interventions and programmes within defined parameters and within practice scope. To respect the individuality, values, cultural and religious diversity of patients, contributing to the provision of a service sensitive to these needs. Person specification
