Are you an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist looking for a new or additional role with career development opportunities? Have you ever thought about working within a prison environment, helping to rehabilitate and support offenders to live purposeful lives as a member of the community? If you are looking for a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day, then this is the place to be. We believe in a good work-life balance so there is no on-call or weekend work. This role is part-time, working 32 hours a month (1 day a week) at HMP Highpoint, Stradishall, Suffolk. You will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies with some complex and/or chronic presentations. You will need to demonstrate advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills, be able to work within the MDT, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. This is your opportunity to work as part of a forward-thinking, innovative healthcare team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists, and mental health professionals, delivering high-quality, best practice treatment. You will also form part of the wider MSK Health in Justice Team comprising physiotherapists and podiatrists in immigration centres and prisons across the country. Main duties of the job

You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead, and this combined with our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training, and funding for external clinical courses, will provide you with an excellent supportive learning environment to continue your professional development. With proven post-registration experience of assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting, you must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be willing to learn and develop.
