£34,045.44 + Overtime As a Multi Drop Driver, you will be responsible for the timely, efficient and accurate delivery of our pharmaceutical products to all our valued customers. Our delivery drivers are the daily point of contact with our customers. Customer care is essential in that their deliveries are correct, and any shortages or errors are reported promptly. Therefore, scanning and checking of items are a priority to ensure this is maintained correctly. You will also be responsible for a daily vehicle check to ensure it is in a roadworthy condition and will always maintain the security of the vehicle. Mandatory Requirements:
A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven For insurance purposes, all drivers must be over 21 years of age Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent Customer care Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy Key Accountabilities:
To maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs. To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition. To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays. To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle. To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work. To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times. To check all orders shown on the Epod Terminal (dropsheets) and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle. To collect goods returned for credit, mail, cheques or delivery bins and their safe return to the branch. To maintain a smart appearance at all times. To help maintain good customer relations. To be involved in other duties as may be defined from time to time by the Management. Meet all Health & Safety requirements. Desirable: Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable Route planning experience MANUAL HANDLING It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are essential requirements of this role. Additional Information: Drivers are required to maintain a smart appearance due to their constant interaction with external customers. Benefits:
