We are currently looking for a
Multi Plumber
to join our team in Winchester.
Please note this role involves OOH - 1 in 4 weeks.
Main duties involve:
Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential settings.
Weld pipes and fittings as needed for various plumbing projects.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
Assemble and disassemble plumbing systems according to specifications.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on projects that require multidisciplinary skills.
The post holder will be a mobile operative and engineer responsible for responding to and completing repairs as directed. You will carry out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works, and other similar activities within domestic and other properties. You will utilize all aspects of your specialist trade and secondary/multi trades as well as your excellent analytical skills in diagnosing faults and implementing remedies on the first visit to the property as much as possible.
You will ensure that maintenance works are completed safely to SHE requirements, delivered efficiently and to a professionally high standard; working flexibly, alone or within a team and completing works within required timescales and deadlines.
You will also contribute to ongoing development and skills through supporting trainees, apprentices, and other professional development.
The post holder will also, as required, provide an out-of-hours service provision on a rota or other basis.
Utilizing mobile technology (PDA), the post holder will have robust time management, an eye for detail, and the ability to provide excellent and empathetic customer-focused services to a broad range of customers and residents. They will be able to develop relationships with colleagues, have agility, multitask, and genuinely care about contributing to positive outcomes.
