Multi-Site Health & Safety Manager

Heavy Engineering installations / Process plant / materials handling / Drivetrain We are working with a key client who is a heavy material, process handling & capital equipment engineering and installation company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for an experienced Site H&S Specialist / Manager for a minimum of a 3-month contract on major process site upgrades, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities: Overseeing all H&S aspects on key project installs and site contractors to ensure H&S processes & procedures are being met. Running audits, including reporting and documentation. Ensuring H&S project deliverables are being met. Reporting H&S issues to the Project Manager & Construction Director. Implementing corrective solutions and resolutions – being a problem solver. Checking all RAMs, Permits, and related paperwork for proper administration and filing. Leading health and safety behaviours and culture. Developing new ideas to streamline company site procedures. Operating nationwide. Qualifications: Experience on multi-million pound project engineering installs. NEBOSH general certificate / Site safety passport. Formal engineering qualifications. First Aid certification. Flexibility to travel UK wide depending on project/site requirements. Benefits: Outside IR35 contract. 3-month contract with extension potential.
