Multi Skilled Construction Worker - The Role

Action Wall Ties is currently recruiting for two key roles. We are seeking operatives with some experience in building work, particularly in brickwork, and experience in concrete repairs would be ideal. Successful candidates will receive training in our unique realigning methods for repairing brickwork and masonry structures.

Additionally, Multi Skilled Construction Workers to assist with brickwork and masonry reinforcement tasks. This role includes responsibilities such as the removal and reinstatement of brickwork, raking out bed joints, re-pointing, and drilling for and installing ties and anchors.

Multi Skilled Construction Worker - Key Responsibilities Cutting out and replacing bricks using powered breakers, small areas of brickwork Realigning and completing small areas of brickwork Raking out bed joints with powered wall chaser for bed joint reinforcing Drilling masonry including diamond drilling for and installing anchors Completing concrete repairs You'll usually work with masonry refurbishment and site labourers in a small team Working in teams starting early (5am) travelling daily to London and the home counties Multi Skilled Construction Worker - You Basic experience in brickwork, masonry repair, and refurbishment work Essential experience on building sites, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction environments Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing positively to group dynamics A responsible attitude towards safety and adherence to health and safety protocols A CSCS card is required (this can be provided if not already attained) A full, clean driving license is necessary, as a company van will be provided for work-related travel Must reside in Canterbury, Thanet or the surrounding local areas for ease of access to job sites Multi Skilled Construction Worker - Training Provided Full Training provided to undertake AWT realigning and structural repair methods Bed joint reinforcement, lateral restraints and wall ties Diamond drilling Access platform MEWP H & S Ready to Join Our Team?
