Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer Responsible to:
Decorating Plant Manager Reporting positions:
None Location:
Rotherham Shift Pattern:
Rotating days (6am-2pm) and Afters (2pm-10pm)
Main Areas of Responsibility
Provide an effective breakdown service, involving fault finding and repair of production service equipment Assist in installations, commissioning, and start-up of equipment on site projects Respond to breakdowns to maintain production across the entire site, minimizing breakdowns through regular routine maintenance Carry out PPM on all equipment Assist with filter changes Ensure housekeeping of workshop and paint storage areas Make adjustments to the spray line during production runs Complete engineering breakdown reports Conduct safety inspections of equipment to comply with the company health and safety policy Carry out new equipment installation as required Perform any other reasonable duties as requested within skillset Person Specification
Multi-disciplined engineer with electrical bias Technical knowledge and capability to handle Electrical/Mechanical engineering activities of the plant Familiarity with instrumentation and process controllers, including practical knowledge of PLCs, Motor Control, and variable speed drives Experience in a 24/7 production environment – desirable Manufacturing background beneficial Educated to BTEC HNC (essential) Apprentice trained (essential) Applications
