Multi-Skilled Engineer
to join their friendly engineering team. The
Multi-Skilled Engineer
will be shift-based, supporting process operations and maintenance activities across the site. Reporting to the Engineering Shift Lead and working as part of a multi-skilled team on shift, this role will carry out planned and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance as required. Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of the engineering team to carry out maintenance work on machinery and equipment, including maintenance of packaging, milling, and product handling equipment as well as site infrastructure. Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant, mechanical, and electrical systems. Installation and commissioning of new plant or modifications as appropriate. Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance. Reporting of all engineering activities in the appropriate format into a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The
Multi-Skilled Engineer
will have a proven track record of effective technical problem solving, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and continuous improvement. Experience of working in a lean operating environment, preferably FMCG, is required. Experience of working in an operational team of varying disciplines and skill levels is also necessary. ONC / HNC in Engineering supported by a recognised apprenticeship is essential. This is a permanent, full-time position with shift rotation including night shifts.
