Due to exceptional growth, T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Cadeby for a Multiskilled Engineer to join their team on a Permanent basis.

The role will involve maintaining, repairing, and improving plant machinery including pumps, valves, motor gearboxes, bearings, flat and polycord conveyors, concrete mixers, servo motors, and associated drives as well as PLC and electrical control equipment.

The successful applicant will monitor all machinery and ancillary systems during the production process, completing the relevant paperwork to ensure accurate records are kept up to date. You will respond to plant breakdowns and perform fault diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with conducting preventative and planned maintenance which is essential in maintaining equipment reliability to ensure optimal performance.

Multiskilled Engineer Job Details & Benefits:

£46,400 per annum plus daily production bonus with the potential of earning a total of approximately £55,760 per annum 12-hour shift pattern, 4 x days per week (Monday - Friday) Paid for 40 hours standard and 8 at overtime 1.5 per week as your breaks are paid! Multiskilled Engineer Job Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimise downtime Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system faults Respond to requests from production for engineering assistance and monitor visual management boards to ensure flagged items are dealt with Carry out planned preventative maintenance within the PPM schedule Maintain accurate maintenance records within appropriate timescales Complete engineering project tasks and make improvements to existing equipment Collaborate with production teams to improve their knowledge of the equipment and their ability to quickly identify problems to minimise downtime and improve machine reliability Play an active part in health and safety, identify hazards and risks ensuring that all health and safety procedures and safe working practices are always followed Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures

Multiskilled Person Specification:

Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing, industrial or similar environment Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems Effective communication skills Ability to work in a time-critical environment Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification (advantageous) Apprentice trained (advantageous) MEWP license (advantageous)
