Multi-Skilled Engineer
to join a prestigious, Grade 1 listed building near Waterloo Train Station. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an iconic setting while supporting the maintenance and operation of essential building services. Key Responsibilities: Perform both planned and reactive maintenance across various building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical. Ensure all systems are functioning optimally, maintaining the comfort and safety of building occupants. Provide proactive maintenance to prevent system breakdowns and service disruptions. Respond swiftly and efficiently to emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime. Comply with health and safety regulations and building guidelines, particularly within a heritage environment. Work collaboratively with the facilities management team to deliver high-quality service. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer, with competence in electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance. Heritage experience is highly desirable, as the building is Grade 1 listed. Familiarity with maintaining buildings of historical significance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude. A valid electrical or mechanical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ). Previous experience in a commercial or office building environment is an advantage. Additional Information: This is a
temp-to-perm role , offering the potential for permanent employment following a probationary period. The position offers a
