Overview We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering, along with excellent leadership and customer service skills. This role requires the ability to interpret schematics, work with logic controllers, and maintain various systems effectively. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems. Interpret and work from technical schematics to troubleshoot issues efficiently. Maintain and repair logic controllers, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify potential issues before they escalate. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the organisation. Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Requirements Solid electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients. Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics is essential. Experience working with logic controllers is highly desirable. Comprehensive mechanical knowledge to support various engineering tasks. Ability to weld is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Qualifications and Experience 17 / 18th BS 7671 Electrical wiring regulations 5 Years Minimum experience in a similar multi skilled role Fault finding experience on PLC’s / Scada / Power & Control circuits / Pneumatics / Mechanical drive conveyor systems. Computer literate (Word / Excel etc.) MEWP/IPAF licences.
