£43/44k Day's Based One of the biggest FMCG businesses in their category is expanding their engineering function after a number of very successful years in the business. Our client is a leader in their field and they are looking for a highly qualified and driven Multi Skilled Engineer to complement their excellent team. If you are an experienced multi skilled engineer with an electrical bias, this could be the perfect role for you. They are looking for an accomplished multi skilled electrical engineer to enhance the team. This role is expected to support the current team and be involved in the future training and development of apprentices, which are a new focus of our client. Responsibilities include:

Ensure that the manufacturing process operates as smoothly as possible, reducing costly inefficiencies to a minimum whilst maintaining integrity and safety. Carry out any repair or maintenance work that is required, ensuring the working area is left in a clean and safe condition. Ensure that all machinery, plant, and buildings are maintained to the standards required by the company and consistent with current health and safety legislation. Install and modify equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient. Carry out scheduled servicing of all machinery and equipment. Maintain close attendance of the production line to provide engineering solutions and assist in an operational capacity when required. Help reduce production costs through engineering solutions. Maintain accurate and timely records of root causes of failures and work carried out. Maintain a stock take of spare parts, materials, and supplies that need replenishing. This is not an exhaustive list; the role has many more responsibilities and is planned to grow with the business as they continue to improve and develop over the coming years.
