The Role We're on the hunt for a proactive and versatile Maintenance Engineer to support our state-of-the-art production facility. In this role, you'll take ownership of ensuring the smooth running of advanced manufacturing equipment, driving performance, and minimising downtime.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Preventative & Reactive Maintenance:
Maintain and optimise cutting-edge systems, including robotics, conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Fault-Finding & Troubleshooting:
Swiftly diagnose and resolve issues to keep production running seamlessly while upholding safety and quality standards. Collaboration:
Work independently and with your team, fostering clear and effective communication across all levels. Continuous Improvement:
Stay ahead of industry advancements, bringing fresh ideas to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
What We're Looking For
A recognised apprenticeship or equivalent certification (documentation required). Ideally, a BTEC or NVQ in Electrical Engineering. Ideally 3 years in a fast-paced FMCG environment. A strong balance of mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise. Familiarity with modern automation and control systems.
