Overview Of Role:
To provide engineering resource for both planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and eliminate quality issues.
To support continuous improvement and ways of working in line with the business strategy.
To comply with legislative, business and site procedures and practices.
Key Accountabilities: Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment utilising Simple Problem Solving to drive 100-year fix mentality. Planned Maintenance and Maintenance requests. Adherence to statutory checks. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice. Involvement in Continuous Improvement and Capital projects. Upkeep of spares. Upkeep of all Engineering Technical documentation. Support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance. To undertake training and up skilling programs as directed by business needs. Provide effective equipment care. Deliver effective communication at: Cell review Engineering meetings Engineering Handovers Make decisions within the framework of site policies and compliance to customer codes of practice. The Right Person: Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (electrical, Mechanical or Multi skilled). ONC or BTEC equivalent. HNC (desirable).
