Maintech Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Multi-Skilled Engineer based in Northamptonshire. Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to deliver exceptional maintenance support for all equipment, utilities, and installations on site. You will be responsible for executing the maintenance plan, ensuring the optimal functionality of operations, and upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards in a dynamic food industry environment. You will work closely with production teams and external contractors to foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with food safety, health, and environmental legislation.

Skills required for this Multi-Skilled Engineer role: Experience in Maintenance within the food industry. Strong technical background with good verbal and written communication skills. NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship in Plant Maintenance or associated fields. Ability to execute inspections/verification tasks as per the Maintenance Plan. Understanding of good housekeeping practices, including 5S methodology. Willingness to support and coach production teams on machine inspections and basic maintenance. Flexibility to cover shifts during periods of holiday and to participate in small project work as required. Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality culture activities.
