About the Role:
• Position: Multi Skilled Engineer
• Location: Rochester, Kent
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
• Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
• Take the lead in overseeing engineering projects and initiatives within the food manufacturing environment.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the efficient operation of electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to improve processes and performance.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff to foster their professional development.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar engineering role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment used in food production.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Leadership qualities with the capacity to inspire and motivate team members.
• Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications are desirable.
