Maintenance Manager Shepley Spring are the UK’s leading bottled water manufacturer with over 20 years’ experience in production and are proud to remain a family run business to this day. The company operates in three manufacturing facilities in West Yorkshire and owns several high-speed production lines with the capabilities of producing both still and sparkling water, servicing leading retailers such as Morrisons, Lidl, Booker Tesco and Sainsbury through private labels, and produces the brands Ice Valley and White Rock exclusively. Following a period of impressive growth, the business is looking to strengthen their Maintenance offering to support further expansion and development plans, and is seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to join their already established team. Job Specification: Maintain a safe working environment at all times throughout our food processing facilities. Maximise equipment availability by responding safely and effectively to breakdowns. Support the manufacturing process. Ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard. Carry out planned routine and reactive maintenance repair work on all equipment. Maintain technical skills and knowledge and continuously update them. Have a strong multi-skilled background with an electrical bias and be able to understand the root cause of machine breakdowns and develop solutions. Recognise potential problems with existing equipment and develop solutions. Be flexible to cover some weekend shifts. Have a good attitude and be flexible to assist in meeting business needs. Be a team player and be willing to coach other members of the team. Experience with operational standards to ensure compliance as outlined in the company’s policies and procedures. Preferred: 18th Edition, Electrical/Mechanical qualification ONC/HNC or equivalent. Preferred but not required: HACCP / Food Safety and Hygiene. Working Hours:
Mon-Fri (8-4:30pm) Rotational late-night system – x1 shift 8-8pm once per week (weekend cover requirements paid at overtime rates) Mission Statement: As a family-owned company, our priority is the health of our team members, our communities and our environment.
