Our client, a leading water sector specialist, is looking for Multi-Skilled Fitters on a permanent basis near Chichester. This role is working in the water sector, and previous water experience is preferred.

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

Hands-on working in the field of mechanical/electrical engineering either on-site or within our workshop. To always ensure that the company meets its requirements and objectives within the policies and procedures for health & safety, quality, and environment.

Job Outline:

Ensure the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always worn both onsite and in the workshop. Uphold company core values and safety culture in all tasks. Receive onsite work assignments from Project Managers, review, sign, and adhere to risk assessments, method statements, and safe working procedures. Follow relevant qualifications and maintain up-to-date approved/certified training to perform tasks safely and competently. Comply with client-specific working practices, site rules, and health and safety documentation while onsite. When handling hazardous materials, refer to the company's COSHH data sheets for guidance on proper use and safety precautions, both onsite and in the workshop. Receive and execute workshop tasks from the Project Managers in accordance with safe working procedures. Perform other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Project Managers.

Package Details: 40 hour week Paid door-to-door Overtime available Candidates will need to work on a callout rota 1:5 Provided with a shared vehicle, which can be taken home at the end of the working day. This will also need to be utilized to drop off/collect colleagues. Use of own tools with job-related tools purchased by the company, which will be signed for and marked as company assets. Candidate Details: Time served or relevant water or similar industry experience Recognised Apprenticeship/C&G/NVQ - (Mechanical or Electrical) Full clean driving licence Confined space, first aid, and vocational qualification preferred.
