£45,000 per annum + £5,800 On call allowance + Overtime Hours:
7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: Conducting routine maintenance checks on material handling systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components. Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. Performing repairs and replacements of faulty parts as necessary. Conducting preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation. Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities. Documenting maintenance activities and keeping accurate records of equipment performance and repairs. Requirements: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably with a focus on heavy-duty cargo material handling systems. Electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read electrical schematics. Experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems is advantageous. Flexibility to participate in a 1 in 3 call-out rota.
