Join our client’s dynamic team as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer at their bustling Knottingley site in West Yorkshire! As a key player reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with a passionate engineering team of 6. Enjoy a flexible 3-shift rotation with 8-hour days, afternoons, and nights, with an early finish every Friday, giving you the chance to thrive in a vibrant work environment. You’ll be integral to our operations, with occasional weekend shifts (typically just one Saturday morning every three weeks) to meet maintenance demands. What’s on offer: Competitive starting salary of £41,764 30 days holiday including bank holidays and rising with service Annual service bonus Company Pension scheme What you’ll do as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Hands-on position holding responsibility for efficient repair and service of operational plant and equipment. Repair of all plant breakdowns both electrical and mechanical. Servicing and overhaul of plant and equipment. Active application of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles. Identify and assess cause of failure and execution of repair / corrective action. Participation of routine maintenance systems and execution of appropriate corrective action / recommendation of further necessary work. All activity in compliance with the company Environmental & Health & Safety Policy. Efficient and proactive execution of all activities. What you’ll need as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: At least 5 years’ experience in a similar setting ideally within industrial or manufacturing A good mechanical knowledge including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience in fabrication and welding. Electrical competency including fault finding on control systems and automated 3 phase plant equipment. Honest and reliable. Positive proactive and flexible attitude towards work A desire for improvement and change. Team worker and Leadership.
