We now have an opportunity for an experienced, Multi-Skilled Team Member with a mechanical Bias, to join our busy Maintenance Team at our production site in Eaglescliffe. Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment reactive engineering activities on site. You will be operating on a continental shift pattern working (06:00am – 18:00pm and 18:00pm – 06:00am) 2 days 2 nights with 4 days off. What are the mission critical skills? A good mechanical working knowledge with electrical experience The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time served in a similar position ideally at NVQ 3 level Apprentice trained with a thorough understanding of the 18th edition wiring regulations Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, Fabrication and general machining will be an advantage Experienced in Hydraulics, Pneumatics & enabled to read the drawings.
