Job Description About the role: Guinness Property is expanding! We have a new opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Plasterer to join our Repairs team covering Milton Keynes & the surrounding areas. This is a full time, permanent vacancy, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00am-4:30pm on Monday-Thursday & 8:00am-3:30pm on Friday). We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll not only be an experienced Plasterer, but you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. Candidates must also have basic skills in other areas such as plumbing, painting & decorating. A practical skills assessment will have to be completed whilst in the probation period. We ask that candidates live within 10 miles of Milton Keynes to be able to reach all the locations in a timely manner. You must also have a full UK driving licence as you will be issued with a company van. Essential Skills/Experience: Demonstrable competence within the Plastering trade. Various multi-trade skills and experience to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first time fix). Experience of working in a customer focused environment. Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures & accurately record information. Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational & time management skills. Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking any advice required. Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines. Ability to operate safely, taking into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks. Desirable Skills/Experience: Experience of working within the social housing sector. Essential Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Plastering Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.
