We are currently seeking a Multi Trade Operative who is capable of undertaking a wide range of maintenance and refurbishment duties. The key task within this role is to carry out jobs following a damp and mould survey, which will involve the removal of mould and making good; this could include decorating and other tasks to ensure all defects associated with damp and mould have been actioned. Within this role your main responsibilities will include: Undertake works identified following a damp and mould survey, although general maintenance along with refurbishment works may be required to support other teams within the Property Care if and when required (Decorating, Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling and Plastering). Planning, organising, and delivering excellent quality works. Working within Property Care. Using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to record accurate information. Ensuring that works are completed to schedule and to budget expectations. Meeting productivity targets showing commercial awareness and aptitude in your approach to work. Ensuring that high value van stocks, materials, plant, and equipment are used correctly and safely, protected from loss or theft and are maintained in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Our ideal candidate will: Be a qualified tradesperson with extensive experience. Have experience of working within social housing/residential properties although not essential. Be a skilled communicator who understands the importance of being customer focused. Hold a full UK driving licence. Be highly organised and capable of planning and prioritising their workload.
