Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Mobile across Scotland - Edinburgh, Dundee, Motherwell and occasionally Aberdeen.
Salary:
£38,000-£40,000 + Overtime
No on-call Personal use of company van. Flexibility to adapt working hours:
8am - 5am
Role Overview: Join our team as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, responsible for managing your own workload across multiple sites. This flexible, mobile role involves planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive tasks, with a focus on electrical systems (70%) and general fabric maintenance (30%).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct PPMs, including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm checks, water temperature testing, and tap flushing. Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial lighting systems and power circuits. Replace sockets, switches, and other electrical components as needed. Perform AHU (Air Handling Unit) filter cleans and basic servicing. Diagnose and repair faults in building systems and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate records. Address minor fabric maintenance tasks such as door adjustments, patch repairs, and general upkeep. Support energy efficiency by monitoring and maintaining electrical systems.
