Requisition ID: 55760 Position Type: FT Permanent Workplace Arrangement: About the role We are currently recruiting for a Instrumentation focused Multiskilled Engineer to join our unique site in Menstrie. This role is responsible for providing engineering focussed support through different areas whilst performing with a Safety First, Quality Always mindset. You will actively identify root cause and bring equipment back into service as quickly as possible whilst utilising CI tools to stop repeatable issues. You will be engaged in identifying on your own or working with others to actively seek and identify cost effective improvements improving plant efficiency. The role covers a wide range of different engineering maintenance activities through reactive, corrective, or planned maintenance. Adding value by effective use and utilisation of all engineering systems to add value to the engineering team. This is a shift based role, operating on a rotating 4 week basis of 12 hour day and night shifts. What you'll be doing Approaching all tasks with a Safety first, Quality always approach and completes dynamic risk assessments, risk assessments and quality hand back forms as required. Supporting the creation of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for repeatable maintenance tasks. Supporting focussed area improvements within area of ownership and works with other area functions to improve the production area. Identifying improvements and highlights these with the maintenance function for awareness and completion (small improvements should be completed as standard) Working as ONE TEAM with the production teams across each process area and transfers knowledge through the asset care strategy. Contacting OEM's and other suppliers for technical support as and when required. Ensuring all plant issues are resolved efficiently and effectively to optimise plant throughput across all areas of the plant (production, process and utilities). Using own plant knowledge to support prioritisation of engineering issues that arise throughout the shift with breakdowns taking prioritisation over other planned works. Responsible for completion of Planned and Preventative Maintenance to agreed schedules. Diagnosing faults to test, repair and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment. Identifying improvements opportunities and highlight these with the maintenance function for awareness and completion (small improvements should be completed as standard). What you can bring to the role

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment. Food industry knowledge. Excellent troubleshooting ability. Knowledgeable in Maintenance best practice and CMMS systems. Strong computer skills in Microsoft programs Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good technical analysis ability and proficient in report writings. Fully proficient in interpreting CAD drawings for electrical, mechanical and facilities applications. Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the value of technical journaling and expanded use of this information.
