Cadence Singers is a small friendly SATB choir based in Broseley, Shropshire. Following our previous Musical Director relocating overseas in 2023, we are now looking for a replacement to lead weekly rehearsals and several performances each year.
We would like someone who can train our choir vocally, developing our technical skills to achieve our absolute best. Our members have a range of abilities and learn and perform using scores. The successful candidate should be able to teach parts by singing and playing the piano and be able to conduct in rehearsals and performances.
The fee is negotiable for this role based on experience and qualifications.
We cover a broad spectrum of music to suit a wide range of tastes, and our new Musical Director should be able to work with us to choose new pieces, as well as continue with much of our existing repertoire.
